From sitting down with us to plan and design everything from placement of pavers, trees, plants.. lights, and astro turf for the dogs. When the job was complete he showed us how the lighting, and watering system worked, and how to maintain everything including the astro turf. Mike was a pleasure to work with as he took us through what he described at “the basic fundamentals of a lighting design”. He opened our eyes as to what it takes to design the right lighting for our particular project. After going through product options and finalizing the design and details he found an installer that was the best fit for our prioject. Mike was tentative throughout the installation process as the contractor made their way through our yard and was here to do a last minute walk through to make the necessary final adjustments that evening. “I am highly honored to write a review for the Pond Gnome. We originally spent over $15,000 putting in a pond by an "artist" who assured us he was an expert pond builder. Within 6 months we had a moss pit that stunk. After one year, I told my husband to fix it or fill it in. WE interviewed almost every pond builder in the valley. The owner came out, and gave us the very bad news that we basically had a disaster on our hands, but he could fix it. So he repaired our pond and we have the most beautiful pond in the world. This was over 8 years ago, and we still love it. We have since added a stream to our front yard which everyone absolutely loves. We do also take advantage of the ongoing maintenance that the Pond Gnome provides as both of us work, and they keep both of our ponds in the "ohhh ad ahhh" stages. This is a wonderful company, and they KNOW what they're doing. Please feel free to call me if you want to either see my ponds to talk to me personally. My cell is 480-695-5603.”
