“Jim Roberts was our contact with Black Diamond for our project which consisted of (1)replacing a poured concrete front walkway that had two steps with pavers on an incline with no steps (this avoids people tripping on the steps at night) ; (2) creating a parking space next to the driveway with pavers; and (3) creating extra patio space using pavers around the back yard pool out of a grass area. Jim provided a nice presentation and competitive estimate and provided valuable creative input that steered us towards good choices of pavers and a great outcome. I was very nervous about the second part of the project (see above) because virtually all of our house utilities (gas, electric, telephone, cable, water line and drain line) all were directly through the area to be paved. Also, two massive tree root systems running through the area had to be hand removed due to being directly over the utilities. Jim and Black Diamond served up a truly outstanding crew that pulled it off without cutting any of the utility lines. Jim had good follow through and represented his company professionally and he would be our first call should we need paver services again. In summary, this was one of our best ever contracting outcomes and give due credit to Jim for that result. Chuck Clark”

Almost 300 plants and trees were planted, flagstone pathways and patios built, a dry creek bed configured, new irrigations system and lighting installed. The job was done with great professional care and consideration, in a timely manner, and cleanly. Lou Penning Landscapes is continuing to oversee our beautiful new gardens and they are thriving. We couldn't be happier with our results, and would recommend this team wholeheartedly.”

“We had contacted several Diamond Certified landscape companies to have them give us an estimate for replacing our front lawn with low water, low maintenance landscaping. After leaving messages only one returned our call and that was a week later. After contacting Details Landscape Art the owner, Scott, responded immediately and made an appointment with us a couple of days after our phone conversation. After meeting with Scott and discussing our plans for replacing our lawn we felt that he really listened to what we were trying to accomplish and made some very helpful suggestions. “I have used Terry Brown for almost 30 Years. He has done completely new landscaping, put in flagstone, sprinkler systems, and a 2 story deck. He has replaced our fence and gates. He does our weekly yard maintenance and whatever else needs to be fixed or pruned. He has been the best gardener we have ever had. Even my neighbors that do their own yards borrow him from time to time for advice or to fix something. I would highly recommend him to all. The project listed below if for our deck.”
