Jason decorated two bedrooms for us, in a victorian property which was being renovated. Their attention to detail and meticulousness with the work was really notable, the finish of both rooms is outstanding and not something we have experienced with all the decorators we have used - we wish we had come to them first! Jason re-hung the wallpaper on the feature wall in my bedroom. His quote was very reasonable and he was really reliable and punctual - he turned up on the day and at the time he had said he would (plus he confirmed when he was on his way, so I knew there was no change to the plans we had made). He estimated perfectly how long the job would take and he was also very clean - when he left it was as if he had never been! But the thing that really stood out for me was how amazing his work was. The previous decorators had botched the hanging of the wallpaper, which had really upset me. But Jason hung it perfectly (and it wasn’t the easiest wallpaper to hang), bringing to life exactly how I had always imagined it should look like. I now admire it every time I walk into my bedroom. If you are wondering whether or not to go with Jason, do yourself a favour and just do - you will not regret it!

Novitas repainted my entire flat in December 2025 and I cannot recommend them warmly enough. From the start, Jason was prompt, clear in communication, and highly detailed oriented. Feature wall: Brilliant job from start to finish. Great communication and amazing attention to detail — even painted the lining black for my black/gold wallpaper so no white would show. Not the cheapest, but absolutely worth it for the quality. Highly recommend!

Novitas did a great job of painting the exterior of our house, repairing woodwork and varnishing. It hadn’t been done for over 15 years and now looks superb! Very happy! We were in the early stages of looking for a qualified decorator, not just a jobbing painter, when we received a positive report from a neighbour who had recently used Novitas. Within a day of contacting Novitas, Jason visited to provide a quote for painting the hallway, stairs and two landings in our Victorian house. He came across as very professional and organised, highly knowledgable and able to provide good, up to date advice on all aspects of the work required, including makes and types of paint, etc. A reasonable, comprehensive quote arrived later the same day, which we accepted, and were able to agree a start date. The work was carried out by Barry and Gary, two great members of their team, who were professional, polite and friendly at all times. Any inconvenience was minimised, they explained what they were doing and kept us up to date with progress. They were painstaking in the preparation of walls, ceiling and woodwork, and the quality of their work was top class. They arrived on time each morning, and tidied up at the end of the day. We are delighted with the end result, which has cheered up a rather tired area of the house that hadn't seen a drop of new paint in fourteen years! We have no hesitation in highly recommending Novitas, and will most certainly use them again in the future.

Jason was recommended to me by Lincrusta as it was my first time specifying their product for installation and it requires someone with specific training to do it. From the outset he was extremely responsive on email. When quoting for the job he demonstrated huge expertise and technical knowledge as well as explaining where things may not be straightforward. His quote was also very fair. He started and finished the job on time and delivered a finish that replicated the sample that we agreed. Lincrusta is hand painted so it is quite a skilled craft. He also painted all the woodwork for us and did a great job. He was very professional and polite. I am very happy with his work and would certainly use him again.

Jason and his team just spent the last few weeks repainting our bedrooms, the hallway and our kitchen units! Everything from start to finish was exceptional. Jason and his team came to turn my cot room into an office. The painting was of a first-class standard and the advice regarding the wall mural was brilliant. I am so pleased with it! I had delayed having work done as I had no previous experience of any painters and was concerned about quality and disruption.
