“We appointed Corbel in 2018, to restore the roof of our heritage cinema. The team were very sympathetic to the heritage, even though it was a 20th Century building. They were inventive when problems arose, able to come up with interesting alternative solutions; were always honest; never cut corners and tried to make savings wherever possible. Regular meetings with the site manager were very informative and courteous. We couldn't have wished for a better team to work with us.”

“We cannot speak too highly of our experience in hiring wooden stairs to design, manufacture and fit the staircase for our new home. Right from our initial appointment with Sean, we felt confident that he had understood what we required. The modern design in oak and glass complimented our individual modern house design and was exactly what we wanted to finish off our feature hallway. IIona in the office was able talk us through the minor adjustments very competently. The finished staircase was manufactured ahead of the agreed schedule and fitted very professionally by the two company fitters on the prearranged date. The final fit, quality of workmanship and materials could not be faulted. We feel we have had good value for money and a staircase which adds to the design of our home.”

“I cannot recommend this company enough. We struggled to find a company who would come onsite and help re-design our 1970s staircase. We did have to pre-book Hillside Joinery's time in advance due to them being busy, but they were willing to work to our deadlines (mainly being the birth of our baby boy!) where possible. Gary spent a lot of time coming up with different options of staircase configuration which would fit into the space and was so accommodating with our queries and deliberation. He gave us so much of his time in the evenings during the design phase and the work was completed quickly and will minimal disruption. We had fitted an oak staircase with a half landing which looks superb. Gary returned the following week to ensure everything was perfect and added a few extra touches for us. It was so refreshing to deal with a friendly and easy trades company and we cannot recommend them enough.”
