“I approached Leigh initially for advice and inspiration for a dull and gloomy hallway. She quickly made suggestions for some beautiful console tables, statement mirror and amazing copper lighting. The copper lighting really lifted the whole area and showed off my attic flooring to its best. I was so impressed I asked her to redesign an ensuite bathroom for the guest bedroom. It is now modern, practical and stylish. Some really interesting and different thing that I would never have thought of by myself. The work was completed quickly and to a high standard with no mess or convenience to us. Top class job and looking forward to commissioning another new bathroom soon.”

Daisy combined everyone’s wishes and must haves for the two rooms with her vision and expertise and created a comfortable bedroom and a functional office. Daisy was easy to communicate with and gave alternative ideas to choose from. Everything was easy to visualise as she created computer generated 3D designs. Most importantly Daisy works within a budget but doesn’t skimp on design.”

She is great at picking out colours and textures and finds material and wallpaper that I would never have been able to contemplate. “I utilised Caroline’s two hour consultation service (£95) as I desperately needed some advice and ideas for my neglected 1930s hallway. As I don’t live locally, I gave Caroline some ideas and photos via text message about what I liked and didn’t like, my preferred colour palate, and what my priorities were. After some questions from Caroline and some very useful exercises looking at existing spaces and colours, and how we used the hall, she offered some simple solutions which were easily implemented. Simple things like changing the positioning of the existing lighting made a dramatic difference. Caroline then compiled a mood board for me on Pinterest with ideas for paint colours, storage solutions and suggestions for light fittings. She also made recommendations on how I could achieve a modern and coordinated hall that tied in with the existing 1930s features, yet wasn’t overly ‘matchy’. This was complemented with detailed information about sourcing items and recommending paint finishes. Caroline very cleverly sketched her ideas onto my original photo to give me an idea of what my hall could look like. This was really invaluable in helping me ‘see’ my new hall before I started work. I felt that Caroline very quickly ‘got’ what I was after. She was really friendly & approachable, responsive and offered really helpful, practical and straightforward suggestions. She didn’t impose her own tastes and encouraged me to develop my own. Initially I felt that I didn’t really know what I wanted but after conversations with Caroline, I began to gain confidence. I cannot recommend Caroline’s service highly enough. She was great fun to work with and the entire process was really enjoyable.”

“Holly did an amazing job of furnishing our new garden room, with colours out of my normal range! The room is a really unusual ‘P’ shape with an octagon ‘p’. She suggested furniture options I didn’t realise existed. Our home is multi functional with a 90 year old man living there and a 10 month old baby staying two nights! “We were at the start of a large side return kitchen extension when I got in touch with Alpine Rose Interiors Ltd for help. I was feeling overwhelmed by the size of the new room and all of the options available to me for the kitchen, utility and living area. Gemma helped calm me down and break the space down into workable sections. She suggested different colour palettes and patterns and definitely guided me to new ideas, which I loved. I thought I wanted a dark blue kitchen because that’s what I was seeing everywhere and it felt safe, but Gemma introduced the idea of different shades of green and how the space could work with the colours of our garden. She introduced us to F&L kitchens, who were amazing to work with, greatly helped by the very good working relationship Gemma has with them. Bringing Gemma onboard during the build meant she had a positive impact on decisions regarding everything from the windows & doors, kitchen design, island size and then all the decoration after the build. She provided lots of samples and mood boards and sourced good value tiles, furniture and handles. I can definitely recommend Gemma, it was brilliant working with her, and sure I will again on our next project!”
