Joining corian to a wooden breakfast bar

We have a tiny galley kitchen and have left the entrance open.
On one side we have an electric hob and then a run of worktops which ends in a rounded breakfast bar. This will be seen in the lounge. I am not keen to see corian in the lving room as I want a soft look. We are having cream units and wooden floors. Any ideas

I fitted this one in Enfield for a designer who lives up north. I thought it looked really nice. Was quatz with oak breakfast bar rather than corian but same principle.

Generally it has to be Quartz, though we do love others, as sometimes they can give the right feel for the design you want. Different metals can look amazing and Quartz can't replicate these. We are just starting a project that has mainly Quartz but one side of the island will be copper . . . Can't wait to see the finished look

Thank you SUN STUDIO London, David & Laura - I will check out the websites & also the bespoke cutting options. Daisy, preferably walnut or wenge, whichever shade compliments the dark feet on our sofas the best. Not too fussed about 30mm or 40mm to be honest (we were quoted for 40mm). That is interesting what your hubby advised as we do have quartz already! I’d never heard of end grain worktops before colourhappy but see they are very hardwearing &, like you say, the join wouldn’t be noticeable. Prefer the look of a full stave worktop :)

Hi Steve, I'm replying to an old post. but how does the fitting of the circular wooden worktop combine with Quartz? I'm thinking of something similar, but not sure in what order? any advice would be appreciated. pic of design is attached. thanks
