Yes, cement tile can like our Cuban Heritage Design 140-2A can be used outside in Florida. They can't be used outside if subjected to harsh freeze/thaw cycles. They do need to be sealed with a penetrating sealer after installation to protect them from staining and water.

We didn't intend to buy our retirement home with a view but when this adorable French Norman one story home on a big lot with a view went up for sale at a reduced price, we bought it the first day. The home needed lots of updating but the view was perfect as is. It combines the mountains in the distance, beautiful sky, neighboring trees, and some cityscapes, but the openness really does make your home feel larger and more private. We live in S Cal and spend more time outdoors than inside our wonderfully remodeled home. First view in 40 years of marriage and we must say it's pretty awesome!

I helped my Dad build a fire pit in his garden, he made wooden seats to sit around the metal fire pit with old stone columns for extra seating (unfortunately you can't see the actual fire-pit as behind the stone bench). Lots of stories and fun are had around it until deep into the night. If you have the space it is a great addition to put in! Shannon

Right we've extended the patio out to the garage door. We've also put wood down the bottom of the fence with weed fabric to stop next doors grass & weeds coming through plus to keep the slate on our side. We've been looking at railway sleepers to put round the edge of the grass to act as a barrier between the slate but I'm worried they might be to dominant? I was thinking maybe something like this lay the front ones width way and dig them level with the slabs and grass then along the sides have the sleepers on there sides. So it'll look similar to this As the grass angles in at the top we were thinking about squaring the grass off then slating across the tree with the view to moving the tree and putting in an Arbour
