Light colored pink is Echinacea or Coneflower. Dark pink is Penta. White flower is also Echinacea

Hi. The walls are really light ( I can't work out if they're white or pale grey!) so I'd just go pale grey (1/2 shades darker if the ŵalls are grey) for the curtains and blinds which will still keep them light. I personally prefer plain curtains as it's typically cheaper to update accessories. I'd go for a mid grey for the sofa. If you go for the same combo as before I'd add an accent chair in a different colour maybe with a pattern. Tie the chair and sofa in by adding cushions in the same colour. If you want to keep it neutral then just add cushions, rug in different textures and patterns in really light grey through to dark. Also add metal finishes and glass for more interest. Green is a colour that works well with white, grey and black and you could also add it for plants, herbs for the kitchen and flowers. I have faux white hydrangea from Oka which I always plug (!) but you need to mix them with green foliage, maybe for the dining table?

Trees can grow incredibly tall and wide 20 ft to 100 ft depending on the species. There aren’t any trees that grow just over 6 feet and no more, unless you try fruit trees that are grafted onto a dwarf rootstock which keeps them small. . However there are some lovel shrubs (multistemmed) that grow 6-10 feet high. You need to check aspect (sunny/shaded) as well as soil type. You can get a tester from garden centres for a couple of quid. You could try Viburnum tinus an evergreen with white or pink flowers in winter. There is Photinia which is also evergreen where the new growth is red and very pretty. Cotinus is deciduous and has lovely purple leaves and frothy flowers in summer.. Lilac (Syringa) is a large very well known shrub with fragrant flowers, although it does tend to spread. My favourite at the moment is Sambucus Black Lace (I’ve just bought one!) with gorgeous Lacey purple leaves and pink flowers. There are so many wonderful shrubs you can plant, but it depends how much time you want to spend tending your garden. The plants I’ve suggested are really easy to grow. Hi Sam. Funny you mention this pink as I’m currently decorating a feature wall in my sons bedroom with a similar colour (see pic), it’s his favorite colour and he loves it and I can see why, it’s bright but warm and cosy at the same time (although I may have a dilemma about it soon.....). With your brick wall I agree with Jonathan and say don’t paint it because there’s a lot of prep and ongoing maintenance. As said repointing will tidy it up and a good algae and mould remover such as Wet n Forget will keep it looking fresh (be careful using chemicals around plants tho). How about painting a large sheet of marine ply in the pink and batten it to the wall? or painting a large picture frame? Might make it easier to attach wall pots or ornaments as well. I actually think the colour will look great against the brickwork but choose the colour carefully and perhaps go more towards a terracotta pink, I think Valspar can mix up garden colours? Or you could let flowers do the talking... I had a lovely pink begonia this year, just ridded it out tho ready for winter bedding and spring bulbs but I took a pic. Here’s my brightest possible pink paint I could find bedroom and begonia:))

Most perennial flowers die back in winter, bursting back into growth in spring and summer. I would suggest small evergreen shrubs which flower in spring and summer but keeps its leaves during winter. Looks a nice sunny spot so I would suggest Cistus which has pink or white flowers right now. Another good small evergreen in Hebe which forms a neat mount with purple or white flowers in summer, there are many, many varieties. You could also add a ground cover shrub rose which although not fully evergreen they flower all summer long and are not tall. The first picture is my shrub rose called Laura Ashley (there are many varieties), the second is my Cistus and the third pic is a Hebe. All they ask is a good watering daily, unless it’s raining, to get their roots established, and a handful of growmore or any other feed, in the spring. Once they are established then they won’t need much watering.
