Hi Alis It sounds like you have some great ideas for your studio flat. Geometric and vintage can work really well to create your own unique look – the mix and match approach to buying cushions and throws is key here! For an eclectic feel, choose one of each cushion design; mixing a couple of those different geometrics that you love, along with some textured options too. Adding a sheepskin throw to your chair is certainly a great way to add warmth and comfort. An alternative idea is to use a fur throw in more natural brown tones, bringing together those warm, wooden tones of your furniture with your accessories. How about , Herringbone,design, Wooded cladding, feature wall behind the bed stained or painted, giving a country feeling, 5lt Flemesh pendent(Black Chrome) , giving the victorian touch to the ceiling, Rustic white flooring, double/kingsize stately wooden bed with just the 4 long posts, with out the canopy , matching bedside table with classic bankers table lamp placed on top , Above the bed, wooden curved rectangular asian picture , with a lot of details curved in to the wood, solid wooden shaker style bedroom furniture (wardrobes, chest of draws etc) it is very contemporary, Art Deco Rectangular Mirror , Modern white venetian blinds (50mm) white thin long see through curtains with drapes, with colonial french twists a colonial style velvet arm chair, (Dark purple or black) beside the window ,lastly, Mid century modern persian rug,under the bed,to complement the picture above the bed

Hi, I would definitely consider repainting the doors (especially if it works out cheaper) and would consider a dark grey with blue undertone to co-ordinate with your tiles whilst cutting between the wood / wood sort colours and shades. I would also change the door handles if you then would like to go for a wood worktop, I don't think It would look over the top. Alternativly, if you feel that you dont want a high maintenance worktop, I would look at the wood effect laminate worktops, they do vary in quality depending on where you buy but many nowadays are made to be tough and durable and require no additional maintenance except the usual cleans to maintain hygiene. If space is your priority, perhaps the second toilet would be better? What brand is it, btw? I will eventually be redoing a bathroom (had planned to do it this year, but gas price rises have made me decide to install a wood burner instead). Really like the shape of this second toilet and it looks like it would be so easy to clean.
