Hi Tim, these are from the Designer Boys Collection. They are beautiful aren't they - handcrafted featuring mother of pearl and beading. They come in three different coloured backing cloths and a choice of frames. They can only be purchased through designers like myself, so please email or call me and I'll be happy to help you further!

Hello Ruth, What rooms.. These are fantastic to work with.. So what I might do is possibly work to an idea you have with the existing paper.. By that I mean with the dado height line.. You could have a mix of colour here on the walls.. With a lighter colour above that dado line height as indicated by the stripe and border above. You also don't need to actually have a physical wooden fixture for either dado or picture rails.. You can easily create this look with masking tape. Peeling off straight away, gives a very clean line! The pocket doors are lovely and could be painted a colour to stand out when closed.. The other doors I would treat in the same way as the walls and either blend or give these a two tone colour following on from dado all the way round, bar the pocket doors.. Or if you wish to include these but leave them as one solid colour if you preferred. To give the room more light remove the pelmet and keep the curtains open as far as they can go.. Having complimentary curtains to walls blends them into the scheme.. Or you can create contrast with them, light shades and soft furnishings.. It really depends on what kind of scheme you want to create.. For a duck egg blue scheme why not consider some pale yellow or old gold for accessories like cushions which is really beautiful together. Moving on to paints.. Whitening by Little Green for the ceiling and or any wood work that isn't a shade or two lighter or darker blue.. (see the eggs!) and links to several shades that would be ideal together.. A pendant light would be nice.. I would also suggest trying to keep the fire surround which you could paint if you wish to stand out but first you would need to create the illusion of a chimney breast by boxing it and bringing the surround forward if possible ( You'll need to create a new flue if you wish to use the fire at all with a real flame - depending on what- it can be done in a variety of ways or leave the existing but box it in so as to appear to be an actual chimney breast. This not only looks right but then gives you alcoves with which you can create some lovely frames to the fireplace with what you place in them.. A large mirror or art work will again finish this off nicely above the surround.. For the rads you could either replace with old style and have them with a pewter finish for example or the chosen colour, or paint the existing to blend with the chosen colour. (remove and spray paint for the best finish) I like to include the woodwork with the chosen wall scheme so again this can be shades and variations on the theme of duck egg blue or Cambridge blue! For plants think large large fronds.. even faux... (Abigail Aherne do gr8 fronds and plants and for flowers Oka are very good at these faux florals. Team the look with old silver or nickel and glass and nickel door knobs... Venetian glass mirrors.. etc etc... For flooring see what's underneath.. I think we're touching a very broad subject here. Art can be many things. Not necessarily paintings what you put on the wall. For example I like anything floral and botanical and appreciate the work that's gone into making or growing something, wether it's a beautiful climbing rose, a wood carving, hand painted water colour or a hand embroidered cushion. My hubby in the other hand likes the inner workings of engines, computers and anything mechanical, to him this is art. So you can imagine the eclectic mix of stuff we have in our house:) Good place to start is have a browse at sites that sell prints like Art.co.uk or Allposters, there are thousands of images but you might be able to narrow it down to things you like/dislike. Alternatively shop around, if you see something you love then take a photo or better still get it! If you have a local art college you could also take a visit there. I'm sure lots of students would be happy to sell their pieces, you'd get something original at the fraction of the price of an art gallery plus you may even be able to commission someone for something unique for yourself. I might be a bit biased as I went to art college myself and could rant on for ages on this subject but I've hoped to have helped a little.

Hello Origin, we install quite a lot of your bi-folds into our garden rooms and our customers love them to bits -- however, usually our garden rooms are at the end of the garden, removed from the house. We find that facing the house with a room that can open up the entire front to the garden is quite a different concept to the one you're highlighting here but serves a very similar purpose. Placing the room away from the building also gives some great design opportunities.
