Hi, we are flirting with the idea of a walk in wardrobe, the area we would have available is 1.6m x 4.6m is this too small to be nice? What do you all think? Thanks
If you allocate 0.6m x 4.6m to wardrobe space, that would leave you with 1m x 4.6m walk in and walk-thru space. If you use sliding doors for the wardrobe space, I think it could be feasible.
depending on how you enter you can be a bit clever with different types of storage both sides... ie shallow shoe/bag shelves opposite hanging space - putting things slightly wider at the top but still allowing walk space etc can work if you really need to squeeze the best out of every inch ! Best to measure up how much short hanging space/ folded space/ long hanging space/ shoes/ bags/ etc etc you need by measuring what you have - then draw it all up to see how to make it work for you ... you can do it yourself or ask someone to help who does this sort of thing all the time (like me!)
