Tile and Granite

I love the tile on the floor and shower and the granite! Can you tell me the name of that tile for floor and shower as well as the color of granite used? Thanks so much!

The color of the granite used is White Ice with a 3CM Eased edge profile. We fabricated & installed the countertops & but not the tile. I've contacted the builder, Alvarez Construction (they're great by the way & also on Houzz!) concerning the tile. As soon as we hear back from them I will definitely let you know the exact tile that was used in the master bath.

The tile used on the Master Bath floor & shower wall is...

Shaw Floor's Porcelain 12x24 Maximus Calacatta Tile which has a Marble surface finish. On the shower floor, the tile used was Maximus Mosaic. I've included a link for more info.

With grey shaker cabinets and white metro tiles the world is your oyster! You could keep it all very neutral or add a splash of colour or pattern to the floor. Browse the photos on Houzz to find some kitchens you like and you'll soon see what styles you are drawn to. I'd recommend a light colour for the worktop as dark ones tend to show up every tiny crumb so you'll be constantly wiping it down. In terms of lighting, it's so important to make sure the lighting works well for you. Make sure you have plenty of light in front of you on the work surfaces. Go for quirky wall lights or a row of little pendants, or if you have wall cabinets then opt for under cabinet lighting. Then you can choose a statement pendant in the middle to give general light to the room and acts more as a feature than practical lighting. I think your eventual choice will depend on the colour you pick for the units. While creams/sand/limestone coloured doors will work nicely with your choice of granite, I still think white will go too. As to tiles, I'd probably go for a porcelain with a bit of physical texture (some "grit") and tones which mix beiges through to greys. This should pick up the mix of the granite. Alternatively, I'd look at wood effect Karndean or Palioclik (possibly Arezzo) in a Sand Oak type colour. Sample image here. Hope this gives you some ideas - and let us know what you decide! The floor is a plain greige colour. The kashmir granite is really nice but it's too grey. I think we're going for quartz. More expensive but we had seen one which had a marble effect, with beige veins
