Help me arrange my lounge
Comments (25)The picture is a ganesh - hindu god that I bought on holiday in bangkok, I'm actually going to replace it with a sketch or simple drawing as I don't think its fits the frame well. I would LOVE to replicate the alcove cupboard, but my Dad built them for me when he stayed with me for a week once and it was hard work, I couldn't ask him to do it again! I'll have a play around with the mirror etc tonight. Green is a good suggestion, I will keep it in mind when cushion shopping :-) And I know that the shelves need some thought. Thanks again :-)...See MoreHelp with my lounge

Trying to keep it classic with a modern twist , don't like to modern but equally don't like old stuff mmmm a lot of thinking to do GONNA need a rug to I think and maybe a couple of nice pieces of furniture and maybe a chandelier, won't be painting the brick tho coz it matches the house and I love it...See MorePlease HELP!! I don't like my newly decorated white walls in my lounge
Comments (5)Thank you for that - the room is quite dark as it has a conservatory on the end - at the moment very stark as you can see in these pics - the red suite is staying, there will be a new light fitting and brass/gold sockets. I have bought a huge gold mirror for the chimney breast and the runner was going directly above the fire - it's normal wallpaper roll width....See MorePlease help me find these paint colours for my lounge!
Comments (0)Hi there! I've seen the picture (attached below) and i really hope to find similar paint colours to the pink/seagreen in the top right photo as accent colours in my lounge. Must be either the Dulux or Valspar range . I also could really use a hand choosing the white that will be on the rest of the walls and ceilings. My lounge is a north facing (with an outlook to the north sea), its a long rectangle room with glass patio doors and two windows to the front. So, I don't get really any direct sunshine in the room althou its not dark, but has a cooler light. The Pinkish colour will be at the back of the room on a feature wall and the seagreen on a drop down celling above the patio door. The rest, skirts, walls and ceilings I'd like to paint a nice, pure looking white. Really appreciate any advice or pointers Thanks!...See Moredrpepe101
