Comments (1)Hi Lorna, Ok so there's a couple of things to consider so firstly you have an upstand already and tiles and upstand's are not normally mixed together. I totally understand your dilemma though and I would recommend a couple of things. 1) It might be a better idea to paint the walls in specialised kitchen/bathroom paint which can be wipeable and does not leave any marks on the wall. Trust me this is what I have done in my own kitchen and it works a treat. I highly recommend Farrow & Ball Modern Emulsion: https://www.farrow-ball.com/our-finishes/modern-emulsion Secondly you may want to consider painting the units a contrasting colour and give it a modern look if you are considering painting the walls. 2) If you really are dead set about having tiles you might want to consider going for a simple cream tile and in keeping with the current colours if you are not painting the units. Otherwise the tiles and the upstand will clash something like this: https://www.toppstiles.co.uk/tprod44769/microline-cream-tile.html Hope that helps, let me know your thoughts?
