Bathroom flooring advice

I am looking to replace my carpet in the bathroom with Laminate, What should I look to use. I am looking at HDF Laminate Flooring, does anyone have any advice.

Check out the manufacturers own guarantees for use in damp areas. HDF has a moisture backing, so is recommended for use in bathrooms. Still best to check out the manufacturers do's and don'ts though.

Our ground floor shower room is built to the boundary and has a sky light. There is a good extractor fan directly over the shower and moisture isn't a problem - building regs will dictate that you need a certain volume of extraction so shouldn't be an issue. Our utility has an end window but I wish it has a skylight too as I'd like more natural light over the sink which is on the boundary wall. Would skylights or light tubes be an option? What will you use utility for - will natural light be important?

I would use the darker colour colour on the tiles used in shower space as it would compliment both style of tiles without leaning towards one tile. it will also offer a nice dark contrast with shower tiles whilst simultaneously offering a light contrast with the other tiles.
