Comments (44)HiTino Felly, Marie Here. Your off to a great start - but you've made a common mistake in that you've found your inspiration for your colour palette, but your not committing to it. You need to bring the greens and blues up onto the walls and onto the floor - commit to it. You could: - add a great throw rug underneath the bed, - add big table lamp beside the bed - or better yet, a wall sconce, - drapery isn't really the best choice for this bedding - I would have brought in a bold graphic print here, in either the blue or the green - artwork can stay neutral - even do a collection of mixed metals in chrome, gold, and have fun with that - if you add too much in the blue and green it becomes boring and un-special. Choose your accessories carefully, I'd change out your drapery - go with something bolder, I'd also get a larger night stand so you could put a proper table lamp there. Good Luck!...See MoreHelp with interior design bedroom please

Comments (9)Hello Chris, I don't think the room is boring at all ... The doggy is lovely isn't he! There's some really nice elements here. I wouldn't change what you have done apart from the little tables by the bed and then just add a bit to the rooms scheme.... So what about adding two wall lights... Then you can give the bed a bit more space.. You could add a little wall shelf for the book or water.. It then free's up the space around the bed.. Then add lovely textures like wool blankets or throws.. Two nice cushions like bolsters in ticking fabric to define the space there at the head of the bed and it keeps to a charming room that it is.... There are lots of creative ways to add functional aspects which compliment the aesthetic of the room beautifully... such as these lights which are a beautiful bulb wrapped around a wooden bracket.. Maybe some more old framed pics and I think it's gr8! A little wooden shelf with some lovely french metal brackets to compliment. : ))...See MoreBoring bedroom
Comments (5)Taking inspiration from your beautiful bed and door, I would go for a warm grey like skimming stone. I would definitely replace the wardrobe and tall chest of drawers, and declutter as much as possible. I'd accessorise with a chunky knit throw like in the picture. It's a small room with a challenging layout! Would it be possible to have the bed on the radiator wall and move the radiator?? You could then possibly have a fitted wardrobe built into each alcove. You could have wall lights and some shelves instead of a bedside table then...See MoreTani H-S
