I purchased this product and it did not come with the light bulbs. Can you advise which bulbs are recommended for this light?

Requires 40 watt candelabra base bulbs (E12) . This item also works with energy efficient bulbs, halogen bulbs, compact fluorescent bulbs, LED bulbs etc (not included).

Do you also have better instructions on assembling the crystals? The instructions that came with my package are really unclear. Thanks.

Hi Jordan, hope you’re well? When it comes to the brightness of an LED bulb, Lumens (LM) is now the most important measurement. The excellent energy efficiency of new LED lamps means that Watts (W) is now only a measure of the energy needed to power the lamp – it no longer tells you how bright it will be. The lovely bulbs that you’ve bought are 440LM and, usually, around 400LM would be fine for a bedside lamp. However, it seems that as yours don’t have a shade and are too bright for you, lamps with a lower number of LM - perhaps around 220LM – may be more suitable. If the lights over the island are mood lighting and not task lighting (ie eating or atmosphere vs cooking lights) then go for a warmer power wattage bulb. We have all exposed bulbs in our open plan area and I’m swapping some of them for lower wattage and vintage style as it’s easier on the eyes, lol! If the lights are higher up and not directly around head height then a brighter one would also be ok. E27 is the size of the bulb ie chunkier stem vs the E14 which has that little thin stem. You can use any type of bulb in the fitting as long as it’s the right size stem and doesn’t exceed the light limits. LED us better and longer lasting of course.

I want to replicate the warm yellow glow of the incandescent candelabra bulbs pictured in the sales photo of the Jet Black Crystal chandelier. Because there are 30 light bulbs in this fixture, what bulb do you recommend? The 2 watt LED is too bright and white. What's our best option given life of bulb, energy consumption and dimmability? Please ask supplier exactly WHICH bulb they used for photo posted.
