What material did you use for the dark grey fascia? Aluminum often is wavy and this looks smooth.

Gorgeous! I am also considering a reconfiguration in our flat. The flat is fab but it suffers from no dining table in the kitchen. We could combine the kitchen and bathroom to make a large open plan kitchen/ dinner/ snug and then convert the smallest bedroom into the toilet. To get back the 3rd bedroom we would block up the space in the sitting room where the dining table currently resides. A bit of work but would look great. Can I ask where you sourced your kitchen and wooden floor material/ finish - they are fab! Also just to get some ballpark - how much did your renovation cost? Who was your builder? My only recommendation for your otherwise perfect kitchen/ diner is a splashback. You could introduce colour - such as a cloudy blue/ grey or mustard or use the same wood you have on the island x

Hello cdrs, I don't like beige with the grey(I think wrong colour line) so why have it? If your strapped for cash because of moving(Perfectly understandable), get covers over the furniture and choose a colour scheme you do like. I did this and worked well but be careful of cheap items not colour fast. Bought nice cheap same king size duvet sets x 3. Pillows made enough cushion covers, the duvets made main seating covers and curtains which are automatically reversible. I tied the the duvet with ribbon joining the curtain hooks. If you'd like the heading higher put in some stiffening. In all cost £70. Looks good, washes fast and back on need to having animals and g'children. I used to caravan and a similar living area, too many colours makes it manic. I think you'd need calm by having a light silk paint for wiping down and paper to a minimum or higher up the dado with pictures/mirrors perhaps, may break the slimness of the room and keep it interesting. Hiya, The color of the sofa is lovely, you just need to create the appropriate surrounding palette. You could use a rug in grey colors, cushions is grey patterns as well, along with some pale pinks/ pale blush pink or light blue, teal would work. Combine different materials as well, like leather (faux leather) in brown tones but remember to mix them up with some more neutral grey ones. Yes you’re right about that Love your home bed, the wings are deeper than our wardrobes (which are half recessed) so if we had little shelf bedsides they’d be really hard to reach, we‘d have to sit up and reach around the wings. If I’m honest I don’t think we can face doing anything too complicated like false wall or moving the sockets to allow for the full width headboard! New lights.... maybe... husband is predictably Not Keen. So, I think that boils it down to the naturalmat Prideaux bed, in linen 😁 with the bigger headboard size if they will do that. I’m up for painting that section of wall though - we could either use the mid grey green shown on the door, or a much darker grey green (the mid is Blanket and the dark is Squid Ink, both Paint & Paper library). If we use the mid paint then the bed colour would be dark and vice versa. Linen curtains - need to look at all my samples in the room later on today! Not heard of vinterior, I will have a browse. 😁 Yes I hope the cat is real!
