something to disguise fire

Gill

My daughter lives in a rented property so is stuck with the fire which she hates. It also has a backboiler behind it so anything used to hide the fire which she never uses must not restrict airflow underneath. I quote my daughter:

"I'm thinking a nice fire guard would do it. I'm not to bothered about being able to see the top of the fire it's just those brass poles at the front I hate but they come off so

would have room to put a fire guard in front. It would probably look quite nice then."

Any suggestions for large decorative fire guard or something to disguise fire would be helpful.
