I like both of the pieces you chose, but I'd actually go for something even bigger and bolder! And I think the clock though fabulous is maybe not right on that wall? You may need to have a really good look at various websites, shops and artists creations to give yourself a feeling of what you would consider hanging on your walls, and what you clearly don't like.
