Bedside table

Hi there, I love this cabinet and would want it for a bedside table but I really need something which is 25mm in width, would it be possible to do?

Hi Lucy,

Thank you for your question.

Unfortunately, this unit is only available at the minimum width of 40cm.

We do have a smaller system that can be built similar to this unit offering a width size of 29cm, but does not have the option of cabinet doors and the depth is shorter at 24cm compared to 35cm.

I have a traditional style nickel framed bed and I have white painted bedside tables to create a sort of Laura Ashley country look. They were from The Cotswold Company. I think you can just about see them in this pic! It does depend on the style of the bed though.

I think it all depends on the material the bedside is made of and whether it is sturdy enough to tolerate drilling into to add legs. Mayfair.co.uk does all kinds of legs you could add to increase the height. My first thought would be to find bedsides that is actually the size you need.

I love that wall paper I would be keen to bring out the colours colours it. Try something slimline and black with legs so the eye can travel across the floor to create the illusion of more space. Gold hardware would compliment it nicely. Something like this, modern and trendy. This particular one is from La Redoute.
