Where were the lights over the island purchased?

We provided the designs and cabinetry. The lighting and all other materials ran through the client's contractor, so unfortunately I don't know where they were purchased...sorry.

Pendants over an island are fantastic for mood and task lighting - as long as you maintain your extract system regularly they should clear most of the steam/moisture but you will occasionally need to clean the lighting so ensure it is easily removable etc. Be careful with glass over the food area just in case of an accident. Do you have a dining table in the same open plan space - if so, I'd hang a pendant above the dining table and not have any above the peninsula. I saw something someone recently said (controversially) about lights above islands/peninsulas looking like warming lamps and now I can't un-see that. You might find that a recessed spot in the ceiling (assuming you have some of these planned already for the rest of the kitchen) lights up the peninsula just fine and you don't need any pendants dangling down and getting in your face. In a normal-sized kitchen/diner I'd only have pendants above island/peninsula or dining table, not both - and preference would almost always be above dining table.
