wrong colour kitchen cabinet doors
Comments (4)As an alternative to painting, you could consider just buying & fitting new replacement doors and selling on your existing (new!) doors through ebay or a local selling site/facebook page. While it may be possible to paint the doors, depending on the finish, the results may be less than perfect and you might be even less pleased with the outcome than your current doors. A badly painted door will have virtually no resale value. There are many door replacement companies out there, and the prices can be a lot less than you might think. Something to consider perhaps! Comments (28)Hi HU-849894587 If you are unsure about Shutters, another product that we see a lot of people selecting when they have windows like yourself is Venetian blinds. Like with Shutters, they come in a wide variety of dark and light colours as well as louvre sizes to allow you to control light and privacy in your home. A feature that is also incredibly popular is adding tapes to the blind; this finishing touch looks great not only inside your home but also outside for people passing by. Hope that helps. Comments (21)If deep grey really appeals to you then go for it! The beauty of paint is that you can always change your mind, it may be a bit time consuming but it's relatively inexpensive (compared to picking the wrong sofa or kitchen cabinets :0) I have a Pinterest board called 'The dark side' with hundreds of images of interiors that I find incredibly attractive (think Abigail Ahern) but some people would probably think were blacker than the inside of a camel and avoid like the plague :D I currently live in a small Georgian terrace with low ceilings and little natural light so most of them aren't an option (unless you really don't mind bumping into things) but I have painted two walls in my bedroom (which is much larger/higher for some reason) in a deep steel grey and I love it, I only wish I hadn't lost courage and painted the other two in a pale white/grey. Good luck and be sure to post some pictures!...See MoreHave we done this wrong...
Comments (10)thanks Eulinea Ltd, we do have two roof lights actually, one main reason for this was to try get some natural light into the playroom... unfortunately we didn’t see a way to get natural light in there without - well - a complete remodel of the downstairs... we’re hoping light from the bi fold and roof light will help. What would you have done its a single storey extension only at the moment but we may in the future build above the kitchen area only yep cabinets are like a light mink/beige colour (called camel by wren) im really struggling with the doors.. we went to a show room today. white shows all dirt so it’s prob down to oak or a painted one like this one (clay colour): im just not moved by the oak... feel like too much going on with the floor.. then add furniture what do you think...See MorePatricia Colwell Consulting
