Could you tell me how big the inside opening needs to be?

Hello,

The product above is a on the wall model..No cut out is required....

It is only attached with the 4 pilot hole inside the cabinet screwed to the wall directly with the 4x3" screws provided..

Hi Dean! keeping the chimney breast in such a small room does limit your options. Without seeing the rest of the floor plans we will presume this kitchen is required to service a 3 bedroom house. In this case, you really need to use all available space for worktop! This would mean the chimney wall, the wall to its left and the wall opposite the chimney breast. If the chimney was to be removed, you may be able to use one wall and perhaps fit an island area within the layout? Hope this helps! New World Designers Ltd.

For option 2 , I would get rid of the sink or at least get a much smaller sink (maybe a mini butler) in the 2nd plan. It takes up far too much space. Alternatively, you could move the sink to the opposite wall. Either way it makes the utility room really cramped. Especially if you're trying to fit a boiler, sink, stacked units, cleaning products and a radiator in there. Is there a separate door to the toilet? Option 1 gives you a bit more wiggle room to fit all the items you want inside. You'd lose about a meter from the garage but I think it'd be worth it. If the door swung outward or a pocket door was installed, you could have a mini corner sink in the toilet. Go for a narrow width door in either situation 680mm.

Hi Katie - it sounds gorgeous! However - as mum of a teenage daughter, she convinced me a couple of years ago to decorate her room including a wall of very expensive wallpaper. It looked amazing! But just like most teenagers, her taste changed quickly and within 18 months (tops!) the wallpaper was off. She now has painted walls again and much prefers it because she can change the look very easily. I don’t want to put a dampener on your plans as they are lovely - but I would certainly be cautious!!!
