Air con for a loft conversion

Having a two bed plus shower room and study nook loft conversion to our Victorian terrace. The front slope of the house is south facing and we have also included two big flat skylights .... Given London's summer I'm concerned that a big black box full of glass is going to be scorching hot. Was thinking of installing air con to that floor and putting an AC unit on the rear side return gable. The concern is that they all look rather ugly and white when they will be hanging off red stock brick. Has anyone else done this? Can you get grey or black ones or am I missing a clever alternative?
