Sourcing the rug!

Hi there - love the rug in the main room - can you help point me in the right direction on where I could find a similar one!?

Very small photo so it's difficult to see but it might be the Rope rug - which is a woven felted wool to give it a nice knitted type texture.

A Crew of Two - Thanks for your thoughts. Excellent point about the sofas. I'll have a move around later and then re-photograph. Re the coffee table. I'm not keen on rattan. I think you are right I'd best source a rug locally. Perhaps it's a good idea for me to choose my ottoman/coffee table first as the one above might get entirely lost on a cream/beige rug. Perhaps a hazlenut sisal would work better in that respect. I like the texture of sisal.

Like all of the mirrors you have chosen, try and imagine the natural wood mirrors landscape rather tha n portrait, if there is sufficient as these would widen the room and reflect more light into that space, if too large either of the other mirrors would work with either 2 lamps, one either side or 1 lamp plus plant or that lovely sculpture on top of your bookcase. Robin, I have been looking for ages as well with no luck. I the end I ended up with a wool runner in black and white and will end up cobbling a fitted look on the landing from larger rugs of the same design ( only finished the stairs at the minute) Tim Page has a fabulous range but everywhere I looked it says POA and that usually implies £££££. Saying that you could find an interior shop or designer who works with them and price it up, what's the worst that can happen right? Good luck and I will be watching with interest to see if anything else comes up.

Can't see enough of the rug to tell......................it looks like an off the shelf carpet that has had it's edges bound so as not to fray. Most independant carpet retailers that i use already offer this service, i don't know about the bigger retiailers. You can choose any carpet and they'll bind the edge, and also put webbing on them if you so wish, it's most common use is for stair runners, but the technique can be applied to any size carpet.
