Need help on a garden design idea
Comments (3)Have a look at making a concrete base, you can dye it dark to look like slate and blend in, you can add fibres to strengthen it against heat. Another option is building a stone wall in a cylindrical shape. Choose your stone and work a template out then start building up. I don't think you want to fill the pit with stones as it will stop the airflow, you need air from below to keep the fire going. Good luck....See MoreNeed Help with back garden design
Comments (7)I would get rid of the lawn and replace it with decking and lots of borders: look at this site, a similar but larger garden to see the reason why that can work: http://www.lucywillcoxgardendesign.com/Projects/Pages/Highgate_-_Love_Your_Garden.html I would add a shed/summer house combo to maximise outdoor space or at least one with a porch (sometimes sold as lumber/timber drying areas) as that can double up space for kids toys and storage....See MoreHELP! You can also divide the site into separate zones. So that they do not visually mix, use a frame with climbing plants or a hedge. Garden paths will help to add elegance and grooming to the site. In addition to practical functions, they carry aesthetic value. Also, do not forget to equip a comfortable and cozy seating area in your garden. Landscape design should begin with a plan drawing and functional zoning of the territory. It is necessary to indicate the location of all necessary items and sites on the map of the area, taking into account the size. If there are children in the family, then it is important to provide a playground. The playing area should be located partly in the shade, partly in the sun and without drafts. The design of technical premises requires a serious approach. It is customary to locate a barn and a compost pit near the garden. If it becomes necessary to heat the house with the help of firewood for their storage, an additional building is erected. Firewood sheds can be adjacent to the barn or located at a distance - in the second case, they often perform a decorative function Add nformation https://sirinsoftware.com/industries/consumer-electronics-solutions/...See MoreHelp!! Comments (17)When we were thinking about our garden, I had in mind narrow borders down the sides. Then we engaged a wonderful chap who took our ideas and developed them into a wonderful space which we love and four years on it is still amazing. What he convinced us of was the value of a deep border where we could have a range of plants of various heights and textures. We’ve never regretted it. I thought I would make more work, but it’s actually made it easier to maintain. We also wanted a curved path and circular lawn and these were accommodated beautifully, and take account of the varying levels in the garden. To us it looked level, but it’s not! We also have a division part way down the garden, again recommended to us and proved to be just what was needed. What we did was more than your budget, but we had a lot of excavation work and a very robust Japanese style pond, so I’m sure you could do a great job for what you have in mind. Here are some pictures to give you and idea of the impact of the wider beds. These were taken just after the work was done. I must find some more recent ones! The recent ones are on my phone, not the iPad!...See Morepjohnson9
