Need wallpaper advice

Can anyone out there tell me who in the UK does a realistic-looking white (or not white but paintable) brick wallpaper? Thank you!

Thank you, will order samples. Just received six white brick samples from Go Wallpaper but none paintable and I think you're right, that's the way to go. As an aside, two of the samples are sparkly (i.e. glitter) brick. Couldn't live with them on a wall but I'm going to order a roll of one of them to use as Christmas wrapping paper. Always looking for something minimalist and different, and this is it!

First of all thank you so much fr your response! It's a great sized living room which was a major factor in the purchase. I was actually looking looking at wallpaper which was very similar to what you describe but it wasn't as metallic looking. I really do like the idea of it though (great idea thanks). The sofa I have purchased is a lullaby sofa with round cuddler chair (please see picture). The only difference from the picture is the silver and gold cushions are replaced by charcoal and silver. I'm really not decided on what style to go for with the livingroom but I'm very open to suggestions!

Agree with above comments. If you did use a heavy duty lining paper it would need to be applied horizontally but even then you may get problems of the texture showing through, unevenness at the joins where it won’t adhere because of the texture, bubbles or lifting because of the extra layers, and it might make it difficult to remove later on because of the extra adhesive and paint. I would either paint with a trade Matt paint so the texture is not so obvious or strip and re do.

Hi, This is a beautiful wallpaper choice! Answering your question I wouldn't advice to go with any colour shade from the wallpaper - either grey or green or even gold for the rest of the walls - simply because it will be too obvious. You have beautiful sofa - as I can see from the photos this colour is close to rustic red with an orange hue. What I would choose being you, and what would compliment your whole colour scheme including curtains choice is: https://www.farrow-ball.com/paint-colours/sulking-room-pink which will go very well with your wallpaper, curtains, sofa and carpet. You simply need something which will blend together heavy sofa, curtains and elegant wallpaper. I wouldn't also use the colour similar to the colour of your sofa as it will look too heavy. It has to be something, which is light in weight and is connecting elegantly with your wallpaper choice and connect to sofa at the same time. If you leave sofa not connected to the colour of the wall it will look as you left a separate piece of furniture in the room. With the colour choice I sent you as an example your room will look stylish and warm at the same time. You can then add a warm grey wool blanket (hand crafted ideally) and mixed cushions matched to the colour of curtains, also a bit of grey too.

Check at b&q as well. They have a good stock of paintable wallpaper.
