need help with designing the door and window space

We have a 2030mm space that has to include a window and door - going for the PVC option - anyone have a good design idea? Tysm

You'd need to post a plan so that we can see where the other rooms are in relation to this one, plus where it is in relation to the garden etc.

Hello Anna, Well succinctly and without really knowing more information.. Why not start by identifying what it is that you wish to change about the area you have chosen.. Then present these ideas as a design board or mood board. that has the theme, vision of what you're aiming for. When it comes to putting a presentation together work through the problem in pieces.. Start by thinking what needs to change from the "brief" and then how you wish the end result to look.. Then it's a series of step by step ideas, design and aesthetics to achieve this, not to mention problem solving and solution based information.. If you are presenting from your point of view then you can work the idea from 1 viewpoint or perhaps present several ideas based on parameters given or environmental for example that may dictate one thing or another... : ))

Hi Sofaiza, It sounds like you have done great so far and have a great space. Well done. I have just completed a kitchen design with what sounds like exactly the same kitchen units. We went for a speckled white worktop which worked really well. We then chose a light grey with a hint of blue for the walls - this is modern and fresh and works well with the white gloss and with the silvers or whites that may appear elsewhere in the kitchen. What flooring have you gone for? For a contrast Black worktop went well and was considered for the same project I mentioned. For the features walls the tiles sound intriguing but I would need to see them to get a better idea or know if they would work with the design. Sounds good though. Hi Minnie thank you for the help darling, yes we will mirror the right side porch brick column then split the as rest sidelights. Nice and centered for my symmetry obsessed brain. I think I know what you mean about the horizontal bars, especially as they would have to work with the panels in the doors and I can't really see how that would work. I am still fighting with the idea of plain glass though, not sure how I could get to see some modern clear glass leaded panels?? I have this strong gut feeling that adding a bit of detail to the panels will make the whole entrance feel nicer. Colour wise I think would rather have a little contrast especially as we have the garage door as well, but I'm not feeling the stronger colours. I am considering light blue from farrow and ball, too safe????
