Beautiful tile! Wondering what color of grout you used?

Really love the tile and the color scheme of this bathroom. Did you use a specific color of grout to bring out the taupe color of the tile? You did a beautiful job!

It is a light/white, but we can't recall the actual name of the grout.

Okay, appreciate the advice given so far. Went to the local tile shop with medium grey and sand grout samples and found that sand was a different shade to the sample in the shop. After taking newer samples out it looks to be my tiler samples had discoloured. So in the end sand was much browner than I wanted. Below is medium grey and also a lighter version (manhattan). Also size of the job. Now wondering if I should go lighter?

Hi Lucy, For a toilet floor a darker grey grout would be best to hide any stains or spills. However from your photo the base colour of the tile looks quite beige, so a coloured grout like the BAL Micromax2 in Lime would be a good option, this will keep a heritage look whilst being more practical than an off-white. If the two colours will be mixed, I’d suggest you use grey or lighter shade of navy blue. If you go too dark definition between the tiles geometry will be lost. Light to mid grey grout for example should work well as it will let the geometry and colour pop.

Hi Lorna, Ok so there's a couple of things to consider so firstly you have an upstand already and tiles and upstand's are not normally mixed together. I totally understand your dilemma though and I would recommend a couple of things. 1) It might be a better idea to paint the walls in specialised kitchen/bathroom paint which can be wipeable and does not leave any marks on the wall. Trust me this is what I have done in my own kitchen and it works a treat. I highly recommend Farrow & Ball Modern Emulsion: https://www.farrow-ball.com/our-finishes/modern-emulsion Secondly you may want to consider painting the units a contrasting colour and give it a modern look if you are considering painting the walls. 2) If you really are dead set about having tiles you might want to consider going for a simple cream tile and in keeping with the current colours if you are not painting the units.
