I'm having a new house built.

I went to see how my new house was coming on and there ready to put the roof trusses up this week.
When I notice there's no insulation in the cavity between the facing brick and breeze blocks but all the ties are in place, can someone please let me know how this will be insulated.

You could ask the builders how they're planning to insulate? Other than that, I imagine they might use something similar to the typical cavity wall insulation which can be done post-build where tiny insulation balls (polystyrene type) are blown into the cavity through small holes made in the block work. They might do that once your roof is about ready to avoid making the holes. But if I were you I'd just ask them.

Lovely space Tani and I know what you mean about the warmth from the sun even on a chilly day. My considerably smaller kitchen is the same - the cosiest, warmest room in the house without any heating on at all. It’s like Siberia in the front room though ha! We bought an awning too and it’s just been fitted, so will help shade the room on a hot day, I hope!
