Comments (23)The concrete looks great and I love the greens sofa's. I'm sure I seen concrete look tiles on www.porcelaintilewarehouse.co.uk. You have much more space than I have, we had to build the seating because a table and chairs would have been squashed. My dad built it, it's just wood strapping bolted to the walls then covered in plywood, then we carried the flooring over it and used chrome trim for the edges. We put the floor down after we built it so if we have to change the floor we don't have to remove the seating. The covers got made from a friend who put 100mm of foam in in, on the back foam is MDF ( covered) to make it rigid. It's really comfy and we picked a slightly ribbed material as my kids sit here for dinner, the rib makes the fabric a bit tougher when it comes to wiping spills so it still looks the same as when it went in. I'd be happy to lift the covers off and show you how it's constructed but it's just like caravan seating in the way built....See MoreAdding colour to a white kitchen - blue window frames or ceilings?
Comments (9)Hi Anthony, Thank you for your helpful reply! The Denim Drift room is lovely in the picture and I love the contrast with the white. I'm thinking of getting this Flos pendant light in Chrome: https://clippings.com/products/ic-pendant-light-169721?variation=185491 The kitchen ceilings are not that high and are divided over two levels so the ceiling lights we've looked at are often blocked by the ledge next to the light fixture. I think longer pendant lights may be too low and we don't really have any surface space for them to hover over so the sideways design of this light seems to work. We do have small built inceiling lights and cupboard lights in addition but they don't give us enough light. In the Denim Drift, would you recommend the colour in your picture or a lighter shade? I understand that they can mix it in a few shades. Bekka...See Moremummymaruk
