Bar stools

Any suggestions for bar stools that would fit in with our current kitchen? We inherited the kitchen when we bought the house and it’s a dark grey and taupe gloss colour and I just can’t find anything to complement the space. Not sure whether to go for wooden or industrial or something else. Grateful for any suggestions please.

What Colour Bar Stools?
Comments (14)I do like the idea of white stools, if you fancy painting the stools. I would personally paint the walls white and hang some bright coloured art (maybe with some yellow accents) - it will brighten the area. If you don't want to spend too much on the paint, either browse through the discounted section in B&Q and homebase, or buy cheap white paint (£4.00 for 5L homebase brand) and mix part of it with a paint tester of your choice for off white shade (like white + beige for lovely warm light shade of roman stone) - you're lucky to have such a lovely and well lit kitchen!...See MoreSmall Bar stools dilemma unsure which ones!!!
Comments (6)I personally prefer the white stools but both are nice and sit well within the room. If you prefer the black and they're sold out why not consider adding a chair at the end? I've only quickly messed around but why not add some accessories to the table? I'm not really a table runner person but there are some nice "scandi" style ones around which would add more texture. 6 years agoThanks Carolina and CeleryGirl. They all look great. I think my problem is that the kitchens not 100% my taste so I’m trying to choose something to complement it but I prefer scandi/ industrial look. So it’s either a stool not quite to my taste that goes nicely or a stool I like that doesn’t go as well! What do you think of any of these?
