Width of the tub

I have a 30 inch wide tub with similar glass tiles. It's the 3060 Aker tub. Can I put a shower door like the barn style on it? It's an alcove design

If you mean 30" is the depth, and the tub is at least twice that size, sure you could.

Think about whether you'll be able to clean around it too. We moved into a house with a roll top freestanding bath crammed across the whole width of the bathroom, and with a shower cubicle next to it on one wall and a basin on the other. It's virtually impossible to clean around and under it, especially the back corners.

You can use side panels or a deck/surround to create what is, in effect, a free standing bath that would work well aesthetically and, optionally, as part of a wetroom-style bathroom. Deep soaking tubs are especially effective for such projects; they have smaller footprint, which affords more room in the shower area, but their greater depth makes them exceptionally comfortable.

There are a few "small bath" suppliers out there that do you thereabouts 1200mm x 700mm tubs. Many of these are "sit baths", a few others Japanese-style soaking tubs. Using that format would allow you to place the bath "across" the side where the window is, and the toilet next to the sink. I guess it’s too late now but I would have considered employing the services of a chippy or joiner to purpose make to size the tallboy, vanity unit and then something to fill the void at the bottom of the bath (perhaps just a top that could lift up and use it for storage). As it is with the 300 gap somewhere between the tallboy and the vanity unit and then a gap at the bottom of the bath it is a bit messy and disjointed.

The space is 5 ft x 7 ft
