Comments (205)Sounds like a plan, Tino. I really like that umbrella picture, and am looking forward to seeing where you put it. I also really like that red lamp. Just off the top of my head I don't think that its too much red, since your rug only has the slim red circle, and the couch has the red throw adding color. However, since you are the one there in the space you are the only one who can judge whether it too much color, or not. I'm glad that you think my ideas have been helpful-and, of course, I have a lot of company out here with a lot of good ideas, and design experience in a lot of cases....See MoreIf you were to change the look of your home...
Comments (77)I have always been attracted to the Carmel-by-the-Sea houses designed by Comstock...the interiors are often decorated casually, with comfy sofas, chairs, maple & cherry furniture and nature-inspired art and accessories. Big fantasy. In real life, we are retired on Cape Cod, Massachusetts and live in a 1200 sq.ft. condo one block off a large town's Main St. and two miles from any beach. Except for the building and location, we have the rest...not sure if our decor is English casual, English coastal or ???, but I wouldn't change it, except to buy better quality sofa and chairs....See MorePlease help with a Teen girl's bedroom
Comments (9)Hi, I think metallics are great for anything glamorous and also purples and other deep colours. For anything fashion inspired I usually go to classics, like Audrey Hepburn and other 1940's type styles. However if you were thinking something more with colour, framed fashion drawings like the ones Hayden Williams does would be a great way to tie in fashion and colour. Also for lighting I found this really cute bow-shaped lamp which might be perfect....See MoreI would like to change this room into my daughters bedroom.
Comments (6)Hi sawsankhan, I love the fish tank by the way, I hope that you will keep it when you do your room-makeover as fish are incredibly calming ! Here at Go Modern we have a great range of furniture suitable for children and young adults. I see that your daughter loves dark wood, gold & brown, with this in mind I have a few suggestions which all combine to create a beautiful and extremely stylish bedroom that will take her from 12 to 20 and beyond ! Firstly a smart new bed and I suggest the Bonaldo Billo Teenage Bed which is shown here in golden brown http://www.gomodern.co.uk/store/bonaldo-billo-teenagers-bed.html but which can also be upholstered in a huge range of colours. When she has friends over and needs extra seating in her room, how about these stunning Italian made Hollywood Poufs which are designed by Gino Carrollo. Available in a superb array of removable elastic fabric covers, as well as limited edition patterned fabrics - http://www.gomodern.co.uk/store/bonaldo-hollywood_pouf.html And to complete the look – how about a beautiful full length mirror – this one from Jesse, one of Italy's best known contemporary furniture brands, is perfect as the side strip can be in either walnut, oak or lacquered in your choice from 28 different colours http://www.gomodern.co.uk/store/jesse-strip-vertical-mirror.html I do hope that this is helpful, however, if you have any questions please contact our friendly, knowledgeable team on 020 7731 9540.
