Hello,

This model does not have an ON/OFF switch on the lamp, it is directly connected to the wall light entrance,

Such a pity... your splashback is beautiful, but it looks out of place at the moment. There are a couple of things you could do: - cover the rest of the wall in a back-painted glass that matches the background colour (milky white?) of your splashback (similar to pic below) - you could have it on the left hand side wall (the one with microwave+oven) if you can give up the plugs there, re-sized, obviously; choose something else for the rest of the kitchen. - re-size and place it vertically in front of the hob. - use it somewhere else (bathroom?) and consider new splashback for kitchen. Please move the sink and the dishwasher so they aren't so close to the stove. If you have it in the corner like that it means that only one person can be at the sink and stove at the same time (I inherited this layout in my old kitchen and it was a giant room but only one person could do anything at a time!). And does your peninsula allow enough room for it to be used as a breakfast bar? It looks very tight. I would just have it as a traditional U shape with the counters all against the wall. You could still have a couple of stools and an overhang on that side of the countertops, but have the seating inside the U, not squished against the wall. Good luck!

So you know I bought a single 'click deco' brand dolly light switch a while back and found it to be pretty poor quality so it was returned. Ended up with these: http://www.forbesandlomax.com/the-unlacquered-brass-range.html Really good quality and they have lovely finishes too. I quite like their antique bronze range too as it contrasts nicely with chrome/nickel finishes without clashing. If you'd really like everything to match then take a look at the Jim Lawrence range. They're not the cheapest but offer both light switches and door furniture in a large selection of finishes. Triple switch only turning on one light

I have a triple switch in the kitchen, it controls the ceiling light, under the counter lights, and an outdoor security light. All three worked until recently. Now, only the ceiling light switch works. I have replaced the switch, checked all the wiring, ensured all the wires connected to the switch are live (which they are). At the top of my kitchen cupboards a wire (pictured) comes out above the extractor and feeds into 4 transformers that power the under the counter lights. I assume this wire is connected to the main wall switch that is definitely live, however I’ve tested it and it is not live, so that explains why the under counter lights are not working. I cannot get any further with this wire as my kitchen cabinets are built around it so it would mean removing them to access it. Does anyone have any ideas as to Why this wire wouldn’t have power, when, as I mentioned, they were working up until a while ago?
