Second hand wood burner purchase. Any dangers; Anything I need to know

Really can't afford to put in new with all that we need to do so looking at used. I would stick to branded stoves rather than just 'anything' to ensure quality.
I have also considered ex display, maybe a safer purchase but more expensive.
I have a quote from a supplier so know what size I need. Would also have it professionally installed. Is is there anything else I need to think about?
