Would you please share the wall and trim paint brand and colors? Everything is so soft and lovely!

Hello again and thank you for the kind words. The walls are a Sherwin Williams Antique White. Unfortunately, we do not have a color name for the trim as it was a custom Sherwin Williams color.

Here is the sofa I have bought the room floor plan (the snug area is the bottom left area) the corner sofa will go in the bottom left corner with the long but along the left wall -facing the fire and the short bit against the bottom wall (as in the picture) I have also attached a photo of the wall paper against the sofa - but obviously it is no where near to scale!!! Oh also flooring will be oak herringbone parquet and a slate hearth for the stove ... Any Help and advice would be much appreciated - Thankyou!!

This is from the back where we recently renovated. I like this colour combination but it's just how the board came so not sure what paint would get that effect. And it may look dull on the parts of the house that aren't weatherboard (almost all of it!)

Verdi - thank you - something we can lay ourselves will definitely help the budget. So far, the room has been decorated with left over/ donated paint, so I hope the husband will agree to the Amtico. Forgot to say that, the Downpipe paint will be used to decorate the utility room instead (I found it a bit dark for the room).

You state you want to make the room look cheerful but have shown a cool palate. Do you really want cheerful? If so think of some of the colours you find uplifting- for most people they are warms yellows and reds.
