what colour tiles?

Hi, we’ve decided to go for tiles with underfloor heating in our kitchen/diner but are unsure what colour to go for. We have decided to go for shaker style cabinets (stiffkey blue -fall and barrow for lower cabinets and a light grey or cream for upper cabinets) and white quartz worktops. One wall will be brick. Any advice on what type of floor tiles/colour tiles would work best? Thanks

Hi,

would be interesting to know which way the room is facing and how much light it gets. And maybe what floors there are in adjacent rooms. And what colour is the brick?

Here is a layout of the room. It will get lots of light as it’s a south facing garden and will have velux windows and bifold doors. The rooms leading into the kitchen/diner are the lounge one side and hallway the other. Lounge has light grey carpet and hallway will be engineered wooden floor when done.

Do you have a picture? If the worktops are black, white glossy tiles could be a nice contrast and help to keep the room "light".

Hi, If you haven't already purchased the trims, I've just done a quick search and found that places like topps tiles do aluminium trims in different trims including grey if they are of any interest to you. Your kitchen sounds lovely. Stiffkey Blue looks really good with a wooden floor, or wood effect porcelein planks in a warm shade. If you are worried about how durable wood is, porcelein is a good tough alternative and very realistic. Here’s a few pics
