Hi there its 360mm and its also available in blue linen and antique brown leather match.

We vote tiles! If it was my kitchen (and mostly because I'm a messy cook) I would be inclined to tile (or glass backsplash) anywhere that might need to be wiped down-e.g. behind cooker, along any counters where I might be doing any food prep. This gives you plenty of options-you could tile behind cooker and counters in metro/subway tiles, but be careful as it could look busy with the granite and wood grain of kitchen-it will depend on the grout. Alternatively, you could use big clean glossy tiles like this marble look above.

I have lived in two places with breakfast bars in American style kitchens. I found that I tended to spend a great deal of time sitting there so a bar stool with a comfortable back is important. I made mine from pine, copied from some I saw in a bar. I was also given an old captains swivel seat from a yacht so I built a stand for it, reupholstered it and unfortunately left it for the new tenant who liked it. That was one of my favourite seats, to sit in comfort at a breakfast bar rather than balancing without a back to lean on.

Think of the space as a room. You’re currently looking at the room in an empty state apart from a table. Start to zone and dress that room. You’ve had some great suggestions already. Add the cushions, keep the table (cut down the legs if you need to make a comfortable dining height), add chairs to the other two sides. As suggested, a fire pit might look good. An outdoor rug might help with the zoning. Add your planters to add character and get some taller planting in behind the seating to soften the area. Your options are endless. Photo of an alternative option attached. It could look great, just get zoning!
