Leaves and clouds

Hi,
The picture has over 50 leaves but the product comes with only 6 leaves. Same question for the clouds. Do we have to buy them extra ????

Hi. This is because it is a stencil kit for painting. So you can paint the leaves using the same stencil multiple times. Same with the clouds. We do have this one available in sticker/decal form. Perhaps that is what you were thinking. @michael Morton - quickest way to tidy trashed kids rooms is to get them to tidy it up themselves, usually just before they want (not need) to go somewhere or do something. Few episodes of you supervising + encouraging them along will soon see the amount of trashing of rooms decrease. Gritted teeth go a long way during this learning curve. Doesn't matter how small they are now - from 2yrs up, don't expect perfection. Wait til they reach 13-14yrs to try this - woahhh - you'll wish you had a bedroom tidy elf! The other way to look at it is ask yourself, will you lasting lifelong regret be that you didn't spend more time tidying up rooms!

Hello Amanda, : )) Do you mean in the kitchen? Yes a nice idea. I like flat plate too, but really plain. Well the best way to describe how I feel about certain alterations is to tell you about someone I knew who "did up" her flat to such a degree that she literally took away all that was characterful about it.. Sometimes it's best to leave things as their patina develops over time and results in something quite special. Restoration is one thing but you can also restore the life out of something and thus diminish in certain contexts the value- and so it's good to know when to stop.. So yes, I'm firmly in the camp suggesting leave them, but of course it's entirely your choice. : ))

Susangirl, thank you for your understanding. It is not merely that you show some basic human sympathy and decency, though; it is that you have identified the some of the practicalities. I'd like to know what Jan Johnson thinks I should have done instead. I was very well aware of the risk of feathering the owner's nest, but because I was grateful to have any place to stay, as I have said, I worked on the house. And there is also the issue which JJ hads not picked up on, which is that we did not have any choice. The place was essentially unfirnished and in a terrible state. Should we have abandoned any hope of a decent quality of life in case we were finally mistreated? This place was our home. Should we have applied the same approach wherever we went thereafter? What kind of life is that? Not so far from the kind of life people led in the shacks and tied-cottages in pre-war WWII plantations in Louisiana, perhaps, which I'm reading about just now. The comment "Did you think to keep a diary?" is seeking to blame the victims of greed and utter lack of scruple, and indeed conceivably downright fraud. I think about many things, Jan Johnson! A diary does not cut a lot of ice evidentially. What's your point? The kind of fraud which, as the Inland Revenue told me, does not get investigated as often as it should because there is so much of it - I refer to the avoidance of CBT, which is why we were told to leave furniture items behind. So that the house looked occupied. Note too that it was an ex-council house. The owner had bought it from council tenants who had themselves bought it. That's one more affordable property removed from the system.
