Hi Veronica, This is an apartment at Aria at Millennia in Orlando, Florida. I do not have any information on the cabinets. The builder is Lennar. Perhaps you can contact them and they can provide you with the information requested. Good Luck!

So funny! I'm planning to paint the bannister at the new house (TNH) black and am veering towards painting the treads and risers black too... I've been searching for images of black staircases on Houzz and putting them in my entrance hall ideabook. They are few and far between. In your case, I think, with your white walls, maybe the stairs white and the bannister black? (Assuming the white walls continue up the stair walls enabling the b/w contrast.) You've already put black firmly into the equation, adding some more may give more reason for the black rad cab. In my case, there is a very off-centre radiator that could so very easily have been directly opposite the front door in TNH which is rather annoying as it stuffs up the focal point. We are leaving here with every radiator covered with a cabinet - and going to TNH that has loads of radiators ...but no cabinets! Yes, the work ahead is daunting - especially since the area of Ireland we're going to is very basic and not full of DIY resources, etc. I keep thinking I'll paint TNH white - to make things simpler(!) But try as I may colour keeps wandering through my mind! Lovely to be in touch again!

Have you cut your grass yet? Cutting early will encourage new, healthier growth. Lawn Care - Mow lawns - the aim is to maintain a constant height – not necessarily short! Do what is best for your lawn. - Cut the lawn edges and create a 3in gutting between the lawn and flower borders. - You can sow new lawns or over-seed dead patches from mid-April to early May. - Apply a high nitrogen spring lawn fertiliser to encourage good, strong growth. - If you have a problem with moss you can choose a combined fertiliser and mosskiller when feeding the lawn but beware that moss killer can stain clothes. - April is the best month to apply lawn weedkillers as the weeds are inactive growth. Trees, shrubs and climbers - Tie climbing and rambling roses as near to horizontal as possible to restrict sap flow thus causing more sideshoots to grow along the stem resulting in more flowers. - Mulching rose and shrub beds with a layer of organic matter will help retain moisture and reduce weed build-up – even improving soil structure over time. - Delay pruning any spring-flowering shrubs such as Forsythia until after they have finished flowering or this year's display will be lost. - You can still plant deciduous hedging plants, shrubs, trees and climbers. - Prune evergreen shrubs such as Choisya ternata and evergreen Ceanothus. - Remove frost damaged shoots from evergreens damaged by wintry weather. - Remove green shoots on hardy variegated evergreens that are reverting to a single colour. - Take cuttings of conifers for propagation of your favourites. Flowers - Deadhead spring bedding plants such as pansies and primulas. - Remove tired or dead winter bedding and plants that did not survive the winter. - Divide any herbaceous perennials you want to propagate. - Put supports in place now for perennials so that they can grow over them. - Sweet peas can be sown outside this month. - Prune penstemons, Teucrium, lavender and other slightly tender plants making the cuts just above fresh, new shoots. - Plant summer-flowering bulbs. - Deadhead daffodil and tulip flowers, nipping off the heads and seed pod as they fade but don’t cut them down yet. Greenhouse and Houseplants - Indoor/conservatory plants will need more watering as the days get longer. - Hydrangeas and fuchsias can be propagated from softwood cuttings from the stem. Ponds - Pond algae grows when there is excessive sun light. Create extra shade by dividing and replanting waterlilies when they are showing signs of growth. - Start feeding the fish. - Clean out your pond filter. Check the filter a week after cleaning it as the water will be very dirty from the winter and it may need cleaning again. Soft Landscaping - Remove algae from paths using a brush with stiff bristles or a pressure washer. - If the weather is dry paint wooden fences, sheds etc with a wood preservative. Ensure that you use only new chemicals as some older brands are now illegal. - Think about any soft landscaping you would like done now to enjoy during the summer – decking for example.

Hi Nicky, my apologies I have only just seen your message. We went for cornforth white Farrow and Ball (which it definitely not white). The shutters are not back open yet but some of them will need to go back on because the large expanses of grey look very grey. The bits next to the white look less austere. The new white garage door with windows has made a big difference. I'd be careful with a very pale grey because if your windows are anything like mine you'll find that they are not actually that white after all....

If thats over 500.00 for the 900x1200 panel then that's just taking the p***, i had a quick look on line and found a 900x1200 georgia marine panel at 117 plus delivery at https://www.onlinekitchensuk.co.uk/online-store/appliance-store/browse/brand/Kitchen-Stori/type/Panels/category/End-Panel/colour/Georgia-Marine/ but i would imagine this would be the same as you already have with unfinished edges on the 900 sides so you wouldn't be any further forward. Might be worthwhile giving them a call to check if its finished on all 4 edges. Have you asked your designer/supplier how they proposed finishing the sides of your island. 900 deep islands are pretty standard with base units and shallow depth units back to back and i would of thought a big company like Uform would have something for them. There is one other way of finishing your island i can think of but tbh its not a method I ever offer and that is getting four 715x447 doors and extra plinth. Fit 2 doors each side so they're dummy doors and you have the 3mm gap between the 2 doors so they look like a run of doors. Then you'll need to run plinth at the bottom, ideally the plinth would be set back 40mm so it looks the same as everywhere else (so legs would need to be set back) and then the plinth would have to mitred and glued together. Its not a look i like and its a lot of extra work.
