I like the living and dining room combination in Altitude Penthouse

I also really like the colour combination and furnishings in this penthouse. I was wondering where to get the grey couch, coffee table, dining table and chairs, and the blue bowl which is on the side table.

Hello Esther, These items were part of a rental package. They may have them or very similar items available. I will enquire. The blue vase was from my inventory and still available.

Hi - difficult to visualise without a room plan but this is a hotel we stayed in in London recently; I really liked the layout which felt intimate and comfortable. You could put a small table and chairs in the bay, perhaps and put a small sofa at the foot of the bed with the TV mounted on the opposite wall. Add smaller, armless chairs in corners that can be pulled out as needed but don't take up too much space. The door you can see is the door to the bathroom; the door into the room was diagonally opposite, near the French doors.

Sounds like you have an architect involved - these are all questions that any architect worth their salt can answer for you. ;) South facing glazing is more likely to cause you problems with overheating rather than heat loss, especially during the summer. If you have a lot of south facing glazing then you may need to counterbalance this with some shading. Incorporating a thermal heat sink may also help. It's possible to have clean minimal lines and still create a warm homely feel - look at timber finishes, paint colours, etc as well as soft furnishings. Wood burning stoves are excellent - modern ones can be highly efficient ways to heat your space and look great as focal points in a room. Speak to your architect about these concerns/queries and if they're not able to answer or you're not convinced by their answer check that they are really architects - must be registered with the architects registration board - as all of these are simple questions that a good architect will be able to respond to for you. Hi Becky, You have a beautiful space and I love those grey floor tiles. Your room has quite a contemporary feel to it, so if you are unsure about the style, I would suggest you keep it quite modern to enhance the space. A light grey corner sofa will work great to separate the living space, and will be airy enough to make the most out of the light in the room. I quite like it! I love this style of cabinetry and I think it’s very well done and when the artwork is in place it will bring it together. The colour theme is restful, I did my bedroom in similar colours and love it. I am rather intrigued as to how the pendant lights are hanging from the sky lantern? Sure the table is perhaps a little long and formal but I’m sure the client is happy. Only thing I’m not sure on is the window dressing, seems too white and uniform but other than that, great work:)
