Comments (33)Hi linen check fabric looks good but would be concerned tattle clunch might look green in some light ! It might be better with white tie if you like the creamy colour or stony ground. It's very difficult to give you advice without having the samples of wallpaper and wood worktop in front of me I do sometimes goggle rooms or kitchens painted in farrow and ball white tie for example lots of images come up it also might be worth calling farrow and ball direct as they offer a great service on the tel for free Am assuming you are using an water based eggshell from farrow and ball and not colour matching the paint !otherwise all your work will be in vain as colour matching paint will never be the same as buying the paint from farrow and ball Advice don't paint the wall in any farrow and ball tester pots paint some lining paper or card board then you can move the board around the room and see the colour in different day light and in the evening in artificial light. Also means you can then save your £3.50 pot on the board ready to use in another room or lend to a friend. If you paint squares of colours all over the wall then it will only confuse you and it's difficult to paint over Farrow and ball paint is brilliant but never colour match Best of luck wish I could help you further Lindsey...See MoreNeed help for kitchen and sitting area design....
Comments (33)Hi so this is what I had in mind. Although it ideal I think it would be too expensive for now to remove that lone cupboard. So an idea would be; 1. Paint the walls white 2. Paint the cupboards pale grey: http://www.farrow-ball.com/paint/Paint-For-Kitchen-Cupboards 3. Get nice oak laminate floor from Homebase or B&Q 4. It may cost between £200 and £300 to fit the floor with underlay. But totally worth it. 5. Cheap grey sofa (maybe not corner sofa) or second hand sofa, max those dimensions on the plan. I bought two cheap ones from Homebase for our back room and they're totally fine. 6. Farmhouse table with bench / Eiffel chairs 7. Tv bench and side table from ikea 8. If you keep the freestanding fridge paint it with chalkboard paint. http://www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk/wrust-oleum-black---chalkboard-paint---750ml-125028 I'll post some photos of the sort of look I had in mind....See MoreHelp choosing kitchen tiles please! For dark grey kitchen
Comments (5)As mentioned by the others, having tiles and upstands together would look rather bizarre. I’d suggest removing the upstands and adding white or dark grey tiles. You could also add white tiles with dark grey designs to maintain the colour scheme that you’ve got going. Tiles would also be much easier to clean, and if you choose dark grey tiles, any stains wouldn’t be visible at all. I recently got my entire kitchen redesigned with the help of these kitchen fitters called Saturn Interiors. They took care of all the minor and major details, so I didn’t have to worry about any of it. If you want to, you could consult with them about this issue. I think they could provide you with better solutions too....See Morejbtanyderi
