Is the headboard rough/raw wood?

Is this wood finished/smooth? The only photo of the headboard with enough light on it to see the texture makes it look like rough/raw wood. Is that the case? is there a better close-up of the wood grain (in the warm ebony)?

Yes of course, with us it's actually pretty simple because we sell the bed as a whole, so you have the headboard and base. The base can either be a bedstead (with wooden feet) or a divan base that can come with drawers. A Kingsize upholstered bedstead costs around £600 but the price will depend a little on what bed design you go for. Hello Chris, I don't think the room is boring at all ... The doggy is lovely isn't he! There's some really nice elements here. I wouldn't change what you have done apart from the little tables by the bed and then just add a bit to the rooms scheme.... So what about adding two wall lights... Then you can give the bed a bit more space.. You could add a little wall shelf for the book or water.. It then free's up the space around the bed.. Then add lovely textures like wool blankets or throws.. Two nice cushions like bolsters in ticking fabric to define the space there at the head of the bed and it keeps to a charming room that it is.... There are lots of creative ways to add functional aspects which compliment the aesthetic of the room beautifully... such as these lights which are a beautiful bulb wrapped around a wooden bracket.. Maybe some more old framed pics and I think it's gr8! A little wooden shelf with some lovely french metal brackets to compliment. : ))

Thanks for the mentions Jules Mc ! :-) Hi Debzip . If you have open walk in robes spaced at 550 open robe - 800walk space 550depth backing onto another 550 - 800 550 550 800 etc - so your robes go from to the length from eves to window - this could afford you a mix of single hanging and 3/4 hanging and possibly double hanging at highest height and shelves or drawers etc too . Finish each section with a std door to keep it tidy. Reduce the depth down nearer bedroom entrance and keep a dressing table area under the roof light ... that’s probably what I’d suggest . Although the previous suggestions are also fab ! Hope that helps a bit ! (Adding a rough sketch to clarify ).
