Great extension and a great touch on the bi folding doors. They can be expensive but worth it in the end when it brings the outdoors indoors. We voted for the white floor image as a the lighter the floor the more illusion you have of space. It would make it very light, airy and spacious looking. Hello Simon, I have a deal with extensions very often and I can say that the size of your extension will give you a massive space improvement. Although, I would never consider flat roof. Flat roof type is the cheapest to install and the easiest at the same time but it's not worthy of investment if you live in area with UK weather cast. Flat roof has extreme difficulty bearing heavy rain and in future will require your time and effort to maintain it in a good condition. Someone may say that any roof will require your attention after some time but flat roof will give you a ring sooner than any pitched roof. Another your consideration is a look and hipped roof as the one you already have will be a better option. That's my personal opinion. Good luck with a project! Alena

Thank you Daisy, it's always nice when there's something that makes a kitchen stand out. Most clients keep things safe, always thinking of when they will move one day. In this case it can be easily changed if you ever needed to. Another one of our clients went for a very pink internal larder, though close the doors and you'd hardly know. Thank you for your comment. We had to raise the patio with 600mm in order to be flash with the floor level inside of the house. The bottom floor integrated sliding door rail track gives a perfect finish and it is less than an inch high from inside and outside floor level. You can see on the pictures above that the sliding door is floor to ceiling, which allow maximum amount of light going in.
