Shower head holder fitting

Hi All

Just found this forum, I am Adam a proper basic DIY person who requires some help.

Ok I have a regular power shower with a very good rain shower head, I have added a shower pole extension which works great but the shower head is pretty heavy so occasionally drops on me. I am looking for some suggestions that would allow me to fit a shower hold with enough strength to support the pole and the rainwater shower head....have looked around but could do with a recommendation..can you please advise?

Thanks ever so much for all the input. Sadly an outward opening or sliding door is not an option due to the position of other walls/doors etc outside the bathroom. Theoretically the toilet could swap positions with the shower, however this would mean having a really tiny sink and as we spend a good deal more time using the sink than the shower and I need storage too, I think this would prove a compromise too far. we've had a measure and have found a pivot/in-fold door which looks like it fits the bill if we move the toilet right over. How annoying I wrote a long reply and it didn't post!! Thanks for the replies! Not sure raising the ceiling is an option as it would cost more than we'd gain I think. Interesting to see the different layout ideas. Yes moving the door would mean it would hit the bath. I don't think the hall space would be wide enough for a shower? What do you think? Good to see an idea of how we can reconfigure the toilet sink and bath layout though. I don't think moving the bathroom to the bedroom at the back would be ideal as we'd prefer these rooms to be kept away from the main road. Is it a bad idea to loose a fourth bedroom for a bigger ensuite and bathroom? Is there a way that the fourth bedroom can be reduced in size (but still useable) and making the bathroom (as a minimum) and ensuite bigger?

For me the only way to do this is to build a side gable or side former where the balcony is currently. Perhaps if you built it to one side more than the other at least one of the bedrooms could have a balcony.

Anyone have an Aqualisa Q digital shower with ceiling drencher head?

We are fitting an Aqualisa Q digital shower with ceiling drencher head as well as hand-held head on riser bar. The problem is that the plumber fitted the ceiling head a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was fine until I came to think about the riser bar as the whole thing sticks out much further than ususal - about 35cm. This means that if I positioned the riser rail centrally, the head would overlap the ceiling head. So I have to have the riser bar off centre to the tray which I find quite annoying. Or have the drencher head re-positioned. Aqualisa give no guidance about the layout of the fittings. You have to discover for yourself which is a bit annoying considering the cost of the shower!
