Colour combo options to de-grey upstairs?

We’ve just moved into a house that is entirely shades of grey. I largely like it, but there’s so much of it. I’m on a mission to replace the darker grey with an accent colour here and there.
I’ve gone for neon pink in the living room (photo included) and a terracotta pink in the kitchen, and will have a teal in the dining room. I’m not afraid of colour and we’re on the kind of budget that stretches to 2L cans of paint and DIY rather than anything more.
So, any suggestions for an accent colour for the upstairs? The panels in the stairs and within the doors are currently in the running to get a lick of paint, so the colour to coordinate with is the lighter grey.

Ooo... I do like the pink touch. How about lime or olive green for the stairs and door panels?

You could also wallpaper the panels?

The black and white will not go with the cream of the bath panel and vanity or the wall tiles. I'd go for something warm / wood looking, like the replacement floorboard in colour that you have under the radiator. Or some nice large beige / mushroom tiles for both the wall and the floor Personally i'd change the wall tiles and vanity top too, they are pretty dated.

Hang on some wall decor, art or photos. If you still feel it is too greenish...then paint window wall in different color( white or grey or beige)

Update - the OH successfully sprayed the pine table using Valspar exact match paint, from B&Q where they can mix paint to match any colour you want - in this case it was Neptune Salt - very successfully and it's given a great finish. He just diluted it with approx 10% water. I have to say, everything he's sprayed has worked out really well. He originally started to do it because we wanted to update the kitchen cabinet door colour and a local place quoted us £40 per door - not to mention plinths and side panels, so the cost was prohibitively expensive. So he thought he'd have a go himself. That said, he did spend about £450'ish on the gun, he'd read bad reviews about some of the cheaper guns. But we more than covered the cost against the cost to have them done locally.

I would put black in. Goes with everything. I just put black in my kitchen and I love them. They will go well with your colour scheme. personally having different colour windows upstairs and downstairs would irritate me (so much that I changed all my upstairs windows to black to match).

Maybe a colourful rug, a bright painted accent, some colourful art on the walls, but keep the panels less colourful? Just an idea :-)
