Which best kitchen extractor fan ideas?

I want to adjust the kitchen extractor fan for my kitchen. I want to suggest an expert or who uses and benefited from the ideas, Also recommend size and position. Thanks

Hi all, I would like to put the kitchen extractor fan and motor outside the kitchen, to cut down on noise. If possible I would like to run ducting from the hole in the wall, along the outside wall and put the fan and motor on the wall outside the utility room, about 3m away from the cooker. Any recommendations for the hardware to buy? Obviously the fan needs to be controlled from the cooker hood, even though the hood itself will have no motor or fan actually inside it. The system needs a draught baffle too, to prevent blowback. Hi flow required - the kitchen is large, at 8m x 6m. Hence the idea - a high flow motor inside the kitchen, in the hood, will be noisy... Has anyone done something like this?

Hi Tamp, Yes, I would like to put shelves from window to microwave, like the shelves in this photo. I think this will create a through-line from window to microwave? But maybe more cupboards would be better? Just thought it would be quite heavy and dark with more cupboards...

Integrated extractor fan for 110cm Rangecooker - which one???

I have a 110cm Rangemaster too with the integrated extractor. We went for a Smeg which is 78cm wide and works really well with the hob. I'm afraid I can't remember the model or the price but it was definitely below £600 and I think it was quite a bit less than that. I was a bit concerned that it wouldn't be wide enough but the cabinet maker assured me it would be fine and it absolutely is.

Add a charcoal filter to the stainless steel hood to make it recirculating and add a small electric wall fan ( like expelair type ) where you marked the wall - as long as it extracts a min 60lps that should be ok for uk building Regs.
