What colour to paint the Pergola with dark brown decking?

We have built a pergola,we want to paint it before the decking goes down. I think the tops of the piers which is also wood might look better with a different colour from the main posts in the pergola. Thinking of painting the small block piers a white or cream. Would love some ideas to colour match please. The decking floor will be dark brown. The house has never been painted but has black windows and a red front door so I'd like it to complement the house a bit too. Thank you
